Synopsis

The Densicat New Generation is a breakthrough in catalyst dense loading of fixed bed reactors. This new technology, based on the principles of the current Densicat process, enables a better quality control with an on line radar system and increased safety procedures with a remote control of the dense loading equipment.

  • Increased safety: The monitoring of the dense loading equipment is done by a specialist from outside the reactor. No one is inside the reactor during the loading
  • Improved quality control: A catalyst bed profile control with radar level probes enables to continuously follow the flatness of the catalyst bed during the dense loading. The bed profiles can be corrected during the loading by adapting the machine parameters
  • Reduced turn-arounds lead-time: Time efficiency achieved thanks to an improved design of the machine to get high loading rate and thanks to the radar probe system eliminating the numerous interruptions for check
