Process Safety Engineer



After a master in chemical engineering and a specialized master in refining, Thomas joined Total as a process safety engineer in Feyzin Refinery and was in charge of the safety studies with the new requirements for French land use regulation issued after AZF accident. He also managed permitting for two new units projects. He moved to a position of operation engineer. He has held that kind of position for 8 years, managing operation of sulfuric acid alkylation, reformer visbreaker and steamcracker. He is now a process safety engineer in Total headquarter, giving assistance to sites and projects and developing risk analysis methodology within Total.
