Samuel has a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kerala, India. He has 35 years of experience in various industries including Nuclear, Fertilizers and Petrochemicals as a Design and Maintenance engineer and Consultant, Project-in charge, Supt Reliability Dept. and General Manager Technical. He has been working in Saudi Arabia for the past 15 years. Samuel presently works as an advisor to the Maintenance and Planning Division of Maaden Phosphate Company in Saudi Arabia, the largest DAP complex in the world.  He has participated in leading roles in  Quality, Safety and Operational Excellence initiatives and setting up the Reliability system. Before that, he worked at SABIC in Saudi Arabia as a Mechanical Engineering Specialist for 12 years, first in the engineering division and later in the maintenance and reliability division.

Samuel has authored about 20 national and international Technical Papers.  He was a member of IAEA Vienna committee for Environment Impact Study of Radioactive Effluents for 3 years.
